Imagodei Academy is mindful of the biblical call to “train a child in the way he/she should go, and when he/she is old he will not turn from it” (Proverbs 22:6). Imagodei Academy is a non-denominational Christian School that offers instruction in regular course of study, upholding a high standard of scholastic excellence, with all instruction being from a Biblical viewpoint; also to help students develop a relationship with God through Jesus Christ, faith, character, and intellectual ability so that students may fulfill God’s purpose and plan for their lives. Imagodei Academy is devoted exclusively to charitable, educational, and religious purposes.

Imagodei Academy is dependent on a biblical philosophy that provides the correct worldview and essential truths for life so that children may be prepared to assume their proper place in the home, the church, and the community.

  • Education: We will provide a safe and loving environment for students to learn. We will seek excellence in all that we do. We will work with parents to prepare and equip their student for college, his or her future vocation, and the rest of his or her life.

  • Service: With Christ as our example, students will learn the power of serving others with humility. We will teach students to look not only to their own interests, but also to the interests of others.

  • Character: Students and staff will strive to live like Jesus Christ and be a light at home, at school, at church, and in the community. Whether in school or out, students and staff will be challenged to honor those in authority, be characterized by the fruit of the Spirit, behave responsibly, treat everyone respectfully, and excel in all they do, for the glory of God.

  • Faith: Students will receive biblical training to help them grow in their knowledge of and faith in Jesus Christ. By God’s grace, students and families will come to know Jesus Christ as their Savior and will communicate God’s love to those with whom they interact.

Statements of Faith and Lifestyle

  1. We believe that God is the author of all creation in heaven and on earth, and he created humans beings (Genesis 1:1; 1:26-27)

  2. We believe that God wonderfully foreordained and immutably created each person as either male or female in conformity with their biological sex and biological genital organs. These two distinct yet complementary genders together reflect the image and nature of God (Genesis 1:26–27).

  3. We believe that the term marriage has only one meaning: the uniting of one man and one woman in a single, exclusive union, as delineated in Scripture (Genesis 2:18–25, Matthew 19:4-6). We believe that God intends sexual intimacy to occur only between a man and a woman who are married to each other (1 Corinthians 6:18, 7:2–5; Hebrews 13:4). We believe that God’s command is that there be no sexual intimacy outside of or apart from marriage between a man and a woman. We believe that homosexality goes against God’s design for humanity, life, and procreation (Leviticus 3:18, Romans 1:24-28)

  4. We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible, authoritative, and inerrant Word of God (Luke 1:37, 2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:19-21).

  5. We believe there is one God, eternally existent in three persons—Father, Son who is Jesus Christ, and Holy Spirit (Genesis 1:1, Matthew 28:19, John 1:1, 15, John 10:30).

  6. We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ ( Philippians 2:5-8, 1 John 5:20), His virgin birth (Isaiah 7:14; Matthew 1:23; Luke 1:30-35), His sinless life (Hebrews 4:14-15; 7:26), His miracles (John 2:11, Mark 10:27), His vicarious and atoning death (1 Corinthians 15:3; 1 John 2:1-2; Ephesians 1:7; Hebrews 2:9), His Resurrection (John 11:25; 1 Corinthians 15:4), His Ascension to the right hand of God (Mark 16:19), and His personal return in power and glory (Acts 1:11; Colossians 3:4, 1 Corinthians 15:23-24, Philippians 3:20, Revelation 1:7-8; 3:11; 22:12-13;22:20-21).

  7. We believe in the absolute necessity of regeneration by the Holy Spirit for salvation, because of the exceeding sinfulness of human nature; that men are justified only by faith in the shed blood of Jesus Christ; and that only by God's grace and through faith alone are we saved (John 3:16–19, 5:24; Romans 3:22-26, 5:8–9; Ephesians 2:8–10; Titus 3:4-7).

  8. We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; those who are saved receive eternal life and those who are lost receive eternal condemnation (John 5:28–29).

  9. We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ (Romans 8:9; 1 Corinthians 2:12–13; Galatians 3:26–28; Ephesians 4:3-6).

  10. We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life (Romans 8:13–14; 1 Corinthians 3:16, 6:19–20; Ephesians 4:30, 5:18-20).

The Bible is the ultimate and final source for determining our personal, professional, and public morality. As a follower of Jesus Christ, we each submit our will to God in accordance with the Bible.
